Anne Olwin’s mastery of art springs from the dedicated work she has given to her craft for the past 25 years. As a working artist and a gallery owner for 6 of those years, she polished her technique and honed her skills to express the joy and freedom she enjoys in her daily life.

Her artwork and writing have appeared in Watercolor Magic Magazine, National Gardening Magazine, and various other publications. Anne’s passion for Art is reflected in her work as a teacher as well as a Master Artist. Her ability to joyfully communicate that passion makes her an effective communicator.

With credentials as an educator that extend over the past 30 years, she has taught students of all ages in various settings including: seminars and workshops, private lessons, public and private schools, special education classes, and extended education on the university and post-secondary level.

Using a precept upon precept approach, Anne has honed her teaching skills to an art that draws out the unique abilities of her students. Her dedication to helping her students grow involves leading them into discovery and perfecting of their own personal style and strengths as well as a command of technique. Currently, Anne teaches private lessons and workshops in her own studio as well as various private and public events. Among her workshops are those she teaches through Daniel Smith Artist Materials.

Anne and John have been married for 34 years and are the parents of three lovely daughters. Their inspirational surroundings include parks and marinas in beautiful Washington state.
