The Color of Your Light Source

The sunshine pictures below were taken early last Friday morning through the water-spotted glass of my green house to diffuse the light. I have not monkeyed with the color at all.

Sometimes, early morning light takes on a beautiful golden hue thanks to particulates in the atmosphere. Objects placed in this light pick up the golden glow.

Late-afternoon light can also take on this quality just prior to sunset. Your window for capturing this elusive light is brief, but worth it.

White morning lightWithin a short time, often as little as five or ten minutes, light loses the golden atmospheric effect and turns white.

What a difference!

Compare the color difference on the trees below. The photos were taken within minutes of one another.
